Default Where to get small copper fuel line?

Hi all!
This model Y was given to me. It runs good as I squirt gas in the carb/mixer. Now I want to rig up a gas tank. Where can I get the small copper fuel line and fittings it requires? I assume it is 1/8" ? Home Depot and Lowes only carry 1/4" and up.

And I understand that originally a check valve was required on the tank end. Would it still be necessary if the tank was mounted approximately carb height?

Napa might have it, but most metal oil lines are either 5/32 or 3/16. the plastic ones are 1/8. Another place to look would an HVAC supplier, as a lot of AC equipment uses the smaller copper line in sencors. I beleive also that the tubing on a themo-coupling is 1/8".

You should be able to get 1/8c. at home depot or any hardware. Look for a ice maker kit for a refrigerator. Bob

1/8" copper is not a home depot item. Try Bob's Small Engine for the check and fuel line.

Any HVAC distributor or suply house will have that copper size.
It is common in the A/C industry.

Yep, Ace sells it by the foot. That is where I get mine. As for the check valve, they run a lot better with one.
