Nice idea Joe. Real nice trailer for the job! Always a good idea to C.Y.A. in case of an emergency. If you run diesel in any of your vehicles or not, I have used the 55 gallon BLUE thick plastic barrels to store diesel in for several years. I would rotate the fuel into my Dodge-Cummins pickup every few years and then refill the barrels.
If I may make a statement to you..... I wouldn't make it well known where you live that you have portable generation. When things get s#i++y, all rules go out the door! Then you have to bring out the guns and ammo!

Cranked up the 5.0 cck contractors model and ran it for 10 minutes then hooked up 2 1500 watt ceramic heaters on it for about half hour. It was measuring 114 volts and 59 hz. When I disconnected all I checked with kill a watt and idle no load was 140 volts and high 60 hz. Oil pressure stayed 30 psi entire time.may need to replace spark plugs but ran ok. Put a wood stove in the closed in tractor bay so can keep Onans warm. Another man cave.

Did you mean "defiantly" or definitely? My advice is that the latter is preferable.

That said, if you have a generator it will be obvious immediately upon its activation. If people don't already know that you have standby power, they will figure it out quickly anyway. You just have to make sure that a clear message is sent to those who would deprive you of same.

Definitely.. damn autocorrect.. when I moved here.. there were signs up right after irma.. you loot.. we shoot..

My neighbors leave there 20 plus thousand rv trailers hitches unlocked in there drivways.. with a easy access right to them., and are not worried about them being stolen... mine is or will be pushed tounge forword up to a Palm tree with my truck beside it and trees right on the other side.. so they would have to move my truck, cut off my hitch lock, bring 2 tires all before I could ask them wtf they are doing.. or etc.. should be good..

With the help of a bobcat.. it's in the trailer and centered and mounted.. I have to get a new thermostat housing gasket tomorrow and add new coolant and new hoses.. but the hard part is done..

Hooked up hoses to gas pump in my 7NHM to move gas between 2 cars, so I can replace gas tank strap that's ready to snap from rust.

Took ~ 2hours to move 20 gal of gas, long hose so high backpresure for slow flow.
