Default "Friend" muffler.

Hi all, My best buddy has tasked me with the making of a muffler for his Friend engine. I've looked in a lot of places for images of engines hoping to find a picture to work off. Does anyone have a good close-up picture of a Friend engine showing the muffler, please? Measurements would be of great help as well. Many thanks in anticipation.

I see you've had no responses. I'm not a Friend expert. I've looked thru my photos & have seen semi-balls, small can type, two different style Briggs, none of which I think was original. I have seen some that look like LeRoi mufflers. I've included some photos but have no dimensions. Good Luck.

Hi Doug, thanks for the reply. We have settled for a pepperpot type. I'll post a photo when I finish it. Charles.

Hi Yogi, sorry about the delay in replying. The "Friend" engine went to the Nuenen Rally in Holland and was sold there. Don't know if He took any photographs of it with the muffler fitted. He's in Your country at the moment on holiday. I'll see Him when He gets back next month. Charles.
