Default IH Milwaukee Works Engine Assembly Photos

Lee Grady at the Wisconsin Historical Society's been putting up some more photos on the web. Yes, the site is selling photos, but it's a non-profit and browsing's free!

Here's one photo- there's at least one more one the website. You'll have to paste and click it- the URL is too long for the link. http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/whi/fullRecord.asp?id=7610&formatNumber=0305000174

Look to me that the Histocal Socitey has more IH pics for sale but not shown on the site. If you look on the page where it says Image ID and it is 7610. Which is the photo that is given. Go up to your address bar and change the ID from like 7610 to like 7608 the picture wont change but the story about the photo will. Read through them and it looks like the got a bucket load of photos. I saw one that was a line up of Stationary engins and the IH Milwaukee Work.

The link to the general website is: http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/whi/index.asp There's other photographs besides IH on there, but if you hit the main page and then go "agriculture" that will give you at least most of the IH stuff.

Guy: Great site. I'm sure there are still ghost's that are at these locations based on the size of the machinery used and the working conditions. Piece work was the name of the game back then, and no AC . Boy do we have it easy these days . Looks like I'll be ordering a few item's and need to work some more OT to pay for it all . THANKS for sharing . Paul
