Default Briggs & Stratton 6BH Camshaft Part #s?

Hello,

I know back in the day the part number for the 6bh camshaft was 210211, but I was wondering if there are any newer or revised part numbers for it that might be used to make hunting for the part easier.

Thank-you

6BH camshaft # is 210453. 6BHS Type #s 900010 - 900059 is #210211. 6BHS Type #s 900060 and up is #210453...

Thank-you radiodoc. Seeing how the only difference between those types is probably the carb and other superficial external things i am guessing that all those cams are interchangeable?

I saw one guy on Ebay selling a cam as being good to use in the 210453 or 210211 application. For some reason almost nobody lists the cam under the 210211 number, but there are many listed for sale under the number 210453.

I have an old Eclipse rotary with the 6bh engine and it has excessive valve clearances so I am going to put a new cam and tappets in it and maybe even grind the seats and put new valves in it too. It runs great, it is just that i can hear more mechanical noise coming from the engine than I like to hear. I also have a new crank, rod, piston and rings to go into it too. It will be pretty funny if I put all those parts into it and it still sounds the same....

Here is the mower and it's ID plate, looks like type 900914:
