Hard to believe that it's been that long. I don't think that I have the first couple of issues but I did start subscribing the first year. And if I ever get my issues in a reasonable order, I could go back and see which issue I started with.

I have noticed the G Willikers influence on the magazine featuring less shiny/more natural state tractors, I really like that.

Thank you for the post John.
Yes, where did that time go. I first met Patrick at the late Pete Ledwith's Great Canadian Antique Tractor Field Days show in July 1988. Pat was promoting the magazine, although it would not be printed until November. I signed up for a subscription on the spot and have every issue since.
The November/December, 30th year commemorative issue went to print late last week, and subscribers should have it any day. It was a lot of work, but should be a fun issue. It is the largest one we have ever done! I hope everyone likes it.
Here's to 30 more years of Antique Power, and 30 more years of Smokstak!
RM

Congratulations Antique Power on your 30th! I'm not sure how far back mine go, but we were one of the early subscribers, too. I look forward to getting the next issue.

Yes Happy 30th Anniversary Antique Power. I to have nearly every issue as well. Think I'm missing 1:1, 2:4, 26:5, 28:2, 29:1 and several recent copies. I've also got 30% or so of the news stand copies. Thank you Pat for your dedication to the "Antique Power" community. I wonder if the community would be at the same place without you my friend...I think NOT. Thank You.

I checked, and we no longer have copies of Issue Number one. About all you can do is watch ebay, or it might come up at an auction. There were not that many produced at the beginning.
Good hunting,
RM

Hello all,
AP set the bar high for adored publications!
I have had more than one tractor cover/center along with many well known collectors...what a wonderful gift. Sharing our hobby, our friends and our lives moves forward in a captivating, colorful, world wide reward of physical text thanks to AP
Hats off to the imortal Mr. Patric Ertel and all the good folks who have contributed to preserving our rich agricultural history for everyone to enjoy
Tony
