Default V&K Co. Dayton, Ohio - What is it?

V&K Co. Dayton, Ohio WHAT IS IT?????
I know V&K stands for Vaile & Kines Co. of Dayton, Ohio.
They were in the business of water pumps for domestic use.
But what the heck is this? The flat side looks as if would mount to the wall. The 3 holes are tapered for a wood screw. What I would call the flange area has 2 3/8" clearance holes and the pipe thread hole is 3/8". Must be something missing. Any information or pictures of a complete one would be appreciated.

Hi Junkologist
Yes you are missing the most important part, a water powered water pump.
If you go to Farm & Industrial, water powered devices, post # 11, 01-15-2013. You will find my pump and a description. Best I can do, for now. Can't post a pic. Must be to big?
Bob
