Hi Billy,

When you had previously told me that your wife was in the hospital I had no idea it was so bad. Don't worry or feel guilty about not being able to help us. I am sure everyone here completely understands that you have much more important things to deal with right now. I for one am very grateful for the time and help you have already given me. I will be sending you and your wife positive thoughts.

Billy;

I buried my wife Monday after 6 years with Parkinson's Disease. I know what you are going through and it isn't easy. No one told me life would be easy.

I don't know what your religious affiliation is and it doesn't matter. With God's help (and my fine kids) I have held up very well. I think God "allows" us to have these kinds of problems to make us stronger. I know my situation has made me a stronger Christian, and I think a better person.

I will be praying to strengthen you and to compfort your wife.

It some times is good to know that you aren't alone in your troubles.

Take your time and take care of your wifes needs and you can always help us poor fellows with our trivial generator "stuff".

Thanks to all you guys.The hardest thing for me is of all the things I can fix I cannot help her.And to watch her get worse every day is hard.She used to do all the bills and banking because she had the mind for it.Now she can hardly remember her own name.

My thoughts are with you. Just remember how lucky you have been to have had her.

Billy; I think the Guys have said what we all feel, you take care of you and yours and know that all of us are thinking of you. I am so sorry, God Bless.

Billy, I wish you the best, it is a difficult time. A close relative of mine is in a position similar to your wife. It is not easy.

Well I got the wife home for now.Been a long road.Eight days in ICU,then four days in a hospital room and then one week in a rehab unit.They had to teach her how to walk again.Not much improvement on memory but we are working on that.Give your wife and kids a big hug for me and be grateful that you have them.It is not easy to know that I will soon be alone again.So be grateful for what you have and live your life to the fullest.Thanks for all your prayers.If you wan't to see something really funny you should see me trying to get used to pushing a wheelchair.
