Default TN steam school

The Tennessee Historic Steam and Gas Association will hold their annual Steam School March 21 at Portland TN. The school will be held on the grounds of the Days Gone By Show and Museum. We will be having classroom discussion on boiler type, preservation, treatment, piping, proper lubrication, etc. We will also be having hands on operation of operating steam traction engines. A demonstration will be done on some mechanical operation on a boiler, possibly installing stay bolts. As always, there is no set cost to attend our school, attendees are asked for a donation. The Museum will also be open to walk around. Also housed on the grounds are 10 full size and scale model engines as well as a steam buggy. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. PM me if you have any questions.

--As always the focus on the school and the emphasis will be on safe operation--
