Default Fairbanks Morse Magneto Type R

first time dealing with this mag. I have a fairbanks morse z style d with this mag and needed some info are there any manuals available,or parts like points and condensers. if you take the cover off to get to the points the cam comes out with the cover so how do you set the point gap. i noticed on the cam that there is a notch on the outside edge but no notch in the mag so is this for lining up the cam on the cover and someone might have put it on upside down so the notch should have been down.
