Hey Chase,

This must be your engine, it's a Chase!!! This picture is from the Nixon Auctioneers site for the museum auction coming up. Cool looking engine but the color:

Hey Norm

Told you they (I) made one. The actual color I think is green but what the heck I've seen engine's PINK. Maby SOMEday I'll get my own engine !! Here is the other one I know of. It a 4hp.

Chase, the Chase on Epson belongs to me. Below the name it says "7 in one" and 4hp. George Archer in Iowa owned a 7 hp s/n 101 or 111 but I heard this month he had sold it. Met him last summer, a very mice engine collector. He tinkered with my engine and got it running better. A 4hp, s/n 599, is owned by a man in MN who named his son Chase after the engine. The water hopper on his engine looks like the one in the Van Horn auction, except for the eye catching color. Does the Van Horn engine tag exist? Is the Van Horn engine a 4hp or 7hp?
