Well I hit a sensitive spot, 12 posts in 4 hours. I just ordered some nice to have gaskets (which I could probably make) an end bearing for the bell which I am sure I could buy locally and a spare governor spring which I suppose I can find locally also. It was just nice to order them. But I will keep an eye on the 60 day time period.

there are plenty of stories suppliers to sears can tell.
they were always tight fist purchasers.

our last dishwasher purchase was a from sears
but I won't shed a tear when they are gone.

Sears surprised me today and delivered some of the parts, including the really hard to find Kubota NPT exhaust flange!

Sears also surprised me, been gone for a week, got home there was a box with all my parts. Xmas in May!

Noticed yesterday that the Sears Hardware and tool store in town has closed. Hell of a way for such a great company to end.
