Would be more fun to have it catch on fire and blow up while over loaded. Just smashing it is OK, but having it kill itself = win.

Death Match II Update:

Cancel the death Match. As you may know, I got the stupid Generac to run. The problem was the oil pressure switch. No big deal. After putting the dumb thing together, the pull start recoil rope broke. Actually, it was not the rope, but the recoil mechanism. As of now, the rope is fully extended and does not want to recoil back into the mechanism. I don't want to spend too much time of this piece of garbage. I will keep it for now, but I need to keep focus on the JB refurbishing project. Also, Spring has arrive and I got lots of yard work to do...

As a side note, I down loaded the manual for the Generac. I was amazed when I read the "Run Time" specifications (see yellow highlighted line in the picture below). What exactly is the Run Time spec telling me???? I see this as I can only run the p.o.s. at 400 watts continuous (25% of full rated load)and no longer than 5.7 hours??? I must be wrong. Right??

"Run time" in G*****c speak is how long a tank of fuel will last- so if you fill it up it will run 5.7 hours at 25% load, then you are in the dark until you get more fuel in it.

Gotta love that 50 watt reserve for "surge" capacity.

Why is it that the spec sheets for this modern junk so rarely states the SPEED?!?

Thanks Scoops. There will be time to play after I get the JB painted which hopefully will be no later than 2025.

Where are you going to be heading next week?

Speed is variable, it's an inverter set

Oil pressure switch must be a common failure on Generac , mine was dead too

Ah, even more reason it would be neat to see it. Would be interesting to see the range of speed from no load to full load. Have seen some of these that they allow to scream even more than 3600 rpm. No thank you lol.
