Is there a build sheet for the generator set separate from the switchboard??
The engine block number looks like 569483.

Thanks

If the build sheet is correct. Be interesting to see.How a generator sold in Texas. Ended up in Canada. Onan did make a idle matic kit back then. That may be it. There also was an option to put a starter on a portable.

Switch board was what Onan called a transfer switch up until 1960 I believe.

My thoughts exactly. Would be fascinating to follow this set through 60 years

Try this for cleaning, won't hurt the paint or the silk screen writing. I get it from the dollar store and it works better then just about anything else I have found. It is called GREASED LIGHTNING. Another product is called KRUD KUTTER. This stuff is crazy good!

I have used the Greased Lightning in the past. Very good stuff.

My sister uses it by the gallon cleaning tablecloths after banquets

Still wondering if there is more than one build sheet. The one mbb sent there is for the control panel but doesn't say anything about the motor like the starter and maybe some of the weirdness up top. I'm curious if that might be some kind of automatic electric choke. The manual choke is disconnected.
The engine block number looks like 569483.

Be patient a limited number of people have the ability to look up build sheets from serial numbers.
