Onan P248 Diesel Generator
I can't find much info on this Generator. Does anyone know where I can get a manual. This came with a 1960 ice cream truck I am restoring. Any help is greatly appreciated.
OK I mucked up ..I'm low tech and going blind..Onan P2435..I'm sorry

That is an Onan 12Kw DJC, or DJF Air Cooled.... If you look close near the Oil Filter, you will find a Serial Number Stamped into the Block, on a Machined Flat Surface.... Post that and we can give you the Onan Build Sheet for your specific Genset...

And that generator is not from 1960, unfortunately. That would be, what post 1973 or 4? With the electronic AVR on top?

Yes that is the numbers we need. It has the YD back end which came out around 1974.

12.0 DJC-18R/16786AA. It left the factory 10-78.
