Default Military Briggs model N

I have a military briggs Model N which I am restoring. Does anyone know if the carb, sediment bowl, and plug wire should be painted the olive drab color. This engine did not come with a metal briggs ID tag. It only has a letter "G" stamped on the base.

Jim:

check the website ; go to the "technical data" section and look up engine descriptions. There is a pic of a military model "I" there. Think that will help.
