Default John Deere 10 Spline Axle Vs 12 Spline!

Looking for a little guidance here! My son and I dug out our late grandfathers 1937 JD un-styled A to restore. We've been at it for 1 1/2 years now and are in the final stretch! ( I thought!!) See when we dug it out it was on a set of solid discs rims, while restoring it we had planed on using a set of spoke rims when finished. Small issue! although we have 6-7 pair of different spoke rims- all of them take a 10 spline axle! as you might guess the tractor we restored has 12 spline axles.
So my question! Is it worth swapping the Axles to use the spoked rims or should we leave the 12 spline axles on it and use the org. rims and tires? looking on the internet it seems the 12 spline is a bit more rare and harder to find, making me wonder if we should use leave them on it.

Thoughts please!!

I believe the 37 A that I had did have 10 spline axles. So they probably would be correct for yours.

One thing I did run into with a B that I messed with many years ago is the Bull Gears were different also. So there is a possibility you would have to change them also.

Based on what I've managed to decipher,12 spline axles ran from #460000 to #487999 - Late '37 through '39.They are a bit harder to find, however I believe there are a couple sets on ebay right now. Also,Pat Detwiler may be a good person to contact. He is well known here on the stak.Maybe he could work up a trade with you.
