I see someone converted yours to lever steer as well. the tractor I bought as a parts downer was converted. I prefer the steering wheel personally. I see you have a part at the front of the engine in one of those pictures that I am missing. It looks like some of the pluming for the air cleaner. have any other pictures of that? I will have to build a new one.

Here is the most recent adventure. bolting on rubber pads so I can run in concrete. should be so quiet when I'm done, you wont even hear it coming.

Yes it has been converted, I have some parts to get it back to original but not all. Not sure if the air tube is original or not. They did have a few different air cleaners if I´m not wrong.

Correct. They changed over the years. Mine is a 1920. its in the early days when they had a pre-cleaner up near the radiator that strained the air before it went into the air washer and then into the carb. I am missing the Air washer, so if anyone has a spare one of those lying around, send me a message. otherwise I am going to convert the sheet metal so it does not have the air washer option.

Spent some time in the shop over the holidays and got the frame and some track components cleaned for priming. It wont be long till final coat starts getting applied and more parts find their way into the booth.

I made the Cletrac Project a real Family Affair this weekend. I invited my mother and my Aunt Gloria to the paint booth to help with priming and finish coating some parts for the two cletracs that are being done.

The model W was purchased by their father a number of decades ago and eventually ended up in my hands. Im excited to get it restored and running again and have them drive it for the first time.

Jeff and I have about 95% of my Model W painted and 40-50% of his Model F painted. The W will start to be assembled as engine work gets completed on the F and we finish our last couple batched of painting

Also for all those cletrac enthusiasts. Has anyone ever seen a weidley engine that has a ring gear on the flywheel like this one. This crawler should be a 1919 or 1920 and to my knowledge cletrac didn't have electric options at all. take a look at the engine picture in the last post and let me know your thoughts.

here are some more pained pictures. we also modified the paint booth a bit since these were taken.

the two cletracs are finally coming together. The model W is getting reassembled and should just have sheet metal to finish up. The model F just came out of the paint booth and is ready for reassembly as well.
