Default McCormic Deering 22-36

As a youngster it seems I remember a 22-36 with 3 tanks and 2 carbs. Am I dreaming?

Yes if it was set up to burn on kerosene.

Thanks for the reply. I thought I was remembering right but have seen others that weren't that way.

My favorite tractor. The two carbs you remember were actually one but it had a water bowl attatched off to the side. One small gas starting tank, one large kerosene tank and one water tank for water injection when burning kerosene.

Thank you. I ran this one doing some dirt work 70 years ago but none I have seen since had this set up so I was doubting myself.

When the heavy tractor fuel fell out of favor, most of those old units were converted to burn gasoline. They would put on a cold manifold and a better carb to start with. Crank up the revs and they could get around 50 hp out of them.

I think we quit using distillate around 1950. Well thanks for the info all.
