Default East Lk. Simcoe/Fenelon Falls Ont.

A steady rain Saturday morning had the annual East Lk. Simcoe show off to a less than roaring start but enthusiasm was high with an excellent turnout of exhibitors, especially in the engine area.Stakker Bill Windsor and son Colin throw some energy into the Gilson Wizard. I last saw this engine at an auction sitting on a pallet along with a jumble of parts awaiting resurection. As you can see the Windsor men do some excellent work and the engine looks and runs great ! Take note of an excellent local engine, a Sylvester built in Lindsay Ontario and showing lots of original finish. Chuck Foster poses with his Dad Harold next to the Sausage Hopper Aeromotor, an excellent runner which we followed the restoration of here on the 'stak not too long ago. Sorry about the eyes Chuck, I should have photoshopped a set in for you The tractor fans will like the Massey 4wd. There was a pair of them down from Northern Ontario but unfortunately headed to auction after the show. Lets hope the Ontario collectors will step up and keep these beauties here.

hey paul thanks for the pics and yes i think i look better with eyes

your comment about the windsor boys is spot on...............they do great work...........but they should be good, after all they are the third and fourth generation of windsor's to restore gas engines.

just a little side note: bill and his dad bill sr. were very instermental in getting this club going about 32 or 33 years ago. lots of people have help over the years but these guys busted their butt's to get things going.

i did some of the part's fabrication for the aermotor but dad get's the credit for finishing and getting the engine to run as good as it does............way to go dad

paul i hope you don't mind but i'm putting a link to my photobucket account and it has a bunch of fenelon falls photo's.

Sausage hopper Aermotor, you don't see those everyday. I was talking to Dwayne just last weekend about one of those. I wonder how many of those are out there?
