Default 3 hp IH Engine Info

Looks like I’m going to be working on the cylinder and or the piston. What is the stock bore? If anyone can tell me?

Hello Reed Engine. You might want to repost this in the main smokstak board, "Antique Engine Discussion". Also, is this a 3 HP M or a 3 HP Vertical Famous??

Good luck.

]Thank you. I haven't seen it yet but understand the piston is 4.125 ish. That sounded like an oversize to me if I were guessing. Not sure if I'll bore the cylinder true and sleeve the piston or bore and sleeve the cylinder to std and then turn the piston down.

I post some pics when if arrives. I'll definitely make sure the owner is on board no matter how the fix goes.
