Great work Trash, it's awesome that whole rig is still working. Make your way up to Coolspring this June, it's gonna be the Oil Field Expo this year

Were there more wells in the area? Did that engine only pump one well? Cool video of a band wheel type set up.

Thanks for sharing the movie ! I didn't see any oilers on the engine at all. Hope you didn't run it too long unless you were feeding the oil delivery holes manually with an oil cup.

Yes, just one well. We were keeping oil in the ports. I'm slowly gathering oilers.

A little bit of a history, for those interested...
This well is in what was the Hartley, WV Pennzoil field. The company I work for acquired these wells late in 2017, and our mechanic had enough knowledge to get this wonderful piece running. The plan is simply to repair and maintain for now.

On another note; can anyone here give me the info on hp rating of Reid engines based on flywheel size? The tag is of course long gone.

Yes, post flywheel dia and bore of the main piston. Hard to tell size in video, but I'm gonna say 15hp. That seems to be the most common size. They made them from 4hp to 40 hp. Thanks for he video, that is a neat set up.

15hp has 60"
12hp has 57.5"
8hp has 52"
6hp has 48"
