Default info on a lansing egine wanted

i have found a small lansing engine and cant find anything on it in my books. it is marked on the tag lansing engine made in mich, horsepower just has a b stamped there, speed 6oo rpm. it has a wico mag with sparkplug, hopper cooled, hit n miss. can anyone help me find out more about this little engine alan in ky

Alan,
Alamo & Lauson made Lansing engines. I'm attaching photo of my Alamo built 1 1/2 hp Lansing.

thank for the pic.doug that looks to be the same as the one ive found. do you have any serial no. info on these engines. my cousin has the engine and i think i can trade my shotgun for it when i go back up there in 2 weeks. he said that he has had it runing but it needs something done to the linkage. thanks again and thank you harry for this site alan in london ky

Alan,
My serial number is 108,xxx; about 1926. Mine has a water cooled head. Some earlier ones have a hot or air cooled head.
