Question What kind of engine is this?

Heres a engine a friend of mine has and were having trouble figuring out what kind it is.Can anyone help ? thanks

Not sure but I would almost bet its a Canadian built engine as you can see features of different manyfacturers on it. The flywheels look like a Gray, the top of the hopper looks like a Galloway. The Canadian makers would sometimes merge ideas from different companies so as to not totally copy a US built engine. I could be off base but its a thought.

It looks like a Gray, or Termatt & Monaham.

I would say The Gray as the flywheel is very much like the gray engines. I will have to addmit that the hopper looks like late Galloway though.- Ted

Looks like 3 or 4 horse, did the Grays have 6 head bolts?

I hope the "Iron Wolf" views this thread as I believe he may know the answer. Hopper has a bit of similarity to an Algoma or OK engine?????

Found the head for the engine today ,It air cooled head. Still not sure what it is?
