Default Hart Parr reassembly

After 6 months of finding parts, hauling parts to and from the machine shop and asking a bunch of questions we finally started putting the 18-36 back together. Our goal is still to have it running by early summer!

We are still waiting for the head and magneto to be finished, but we got a good start.

I want to say thanks to Todd Cory at Cory engines for making this tired engine like new again and thanks to Craig for being patient and answering all my emails.

Lookin' good!! Glad you had Todd Cory do the work, he is a good fellow and will be around to help us out for many years to come. I had Todd do some work on several of my Hart Parrs, so he knows about them. Now you will have the 18-36 all ready for the 2010 Hart Parr Expo here at Le Sueur, Mn.

I need to get busy and get my NY Special 28-50 done, now with spring coming that progress will slow down.

Good going guys! Todd Cory from Delevan MN did a bunch of work for me on my Twin City that I was very pleased with.
Looking forward to more pictures when you can post them.

Dave, bringing the Hart Parr up to Le Sueur next year has been discussed. When it gets a little closer to show time I will give you a shout and get some info from you

Just a quick update, we got the Hart Parr running the begining of May. We haven't been able to work on it a too much since then but I have been able to sneak away a few times to take it out and "play" with it. Today I spent the day cleaning it up and getting it ready to take it to its first show next weekend at Granite Iowa. We are hoping to do some threshing with it. Thanks again to everyone for all your help and thanks to Lyle S. for keeping us supplied with parts!
