Default Bobcat 743 Steering Linkage

Anyone know if the top part of the picture supposed to have a closed hole for where the adjustment spring goes or is it open. Mine is open and the spring comes off so im not sure if its two different types and somehting is missing or its just cut off.

Bobcat has an online parts catalog. Free and real easy to use' Go to bobcat.com, then parts, parts catalog, type in your serial number and voila, your machine.
probably not enough detail to help this time but maybe next time.
David
P.S. Never worked on a 43 series so not much help on your exact problem, sorry.
