After getting a leg infection from a shin puncture at a store and enduring three weeks of daily IV injections of antibiotics, I was glad to take advantage of the golf cart. I did get one of those handicap window tickets, but I don't go out of my way to use it. That whole ordeal gave us a two month delay in getting out on the road this summer.

Here's a photo of the Stakkers...

Hey that's my first Smokstak picture. That's me on the far left front row next to the airplane man. Thanks Harry.

I almost feel guilty getting you started on that, but it's a fun hobby to get into isn't it.

My friend Steve and I both had a great time. We used my old Allis B1 and a sulkey for butt buggies. I try to keep it small, takes up less space and isnt in folks way as much. even in 2nd gear idle I was being run over by golf carts. Prices did seem quite high on many things, espicaly stuff like metal signs ect. Was looking for a tin Briggs and Stratton sign, saw one for over $50, also a basic reflective railroad crossing crossbuck, those $75 for a bent up dirty one or 400 plus for the old "cats eye" versions. I did score a mower deck for my B1 for $100 bucks, so I went away happy. Mike
