Default Good buys at Portland

Did any one find some good buys at Portland this week? It seems that most were just looking. I found some nice machine shop tooling.

We came home with 2 model eng. casting kits. and a real nice Simplicity
1 1/2 hp. hit miss engine. Also did quite well selling some stuff, but I don't think the buyers were there. There were a lot of folks walking around, but weren't carrying much. We had several engines for sale, and had a decent price on them, but I only sold one engine. It was a 2 1/2 hp. Economy with a clutch pulley . I had some nice models for sale too, and they
go pretty fast, but this year I sold only one, and I had a decent price on them too. I don't think there were as many buyers this year. We had a great time any way!
Here's a couple pictures of the Simplicity, and the show.

I was thinking the same thing, people were just looking? I spent $20 at the swap in 2 days, just couldn't find what I was looking for, and if I did it was already sold being delivered! lol Great weather and turnout tho, I got a sunburn to prove it.

I bought an original truck for a 2 - 3 HP Geiser sideshaft engine. I saw it on my way out of the grounds. Its the first one I've ever seen for sale and I've got the engine to go on it. I'm very happy to have located that at the swap.

It was my first time visting the Portland meet. Was not sure what it would be like and what the would be there. There was a lot of nice stuff there. I picked up an engine cart, oilers and a few other small items.

I plan to go to the Oct meet. If there are any engine that I am interested in might bring them home.
