Default Information Wanted!

Can anyone identify this single cylinder (I believe) magneto ? I can find no markings - it has a brass/bronze base. Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Is the support bracket steel, cast iron or aluminum? If aluminum it could be aircraft. An aircraft mag is often driven off the end of the engine, between the engine and the firewall. Right angle drive would save space in that area.

Thanks all & yes, it was listed on the T site and I had several fellows wanting to buy it but I apparently should have done some research FIRST ! I'm pulling the ad until I can get some info. I'm thinking it might be an early motorcycle - the base is cast bronze or brass as stated in my initial post.
