Default ESSEX Engine by P.T. Legare.

I came across this page from an 1920 P.T. Legare catalogue:
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/o...004037.149.pdf
Anyone know what manufacturer would have built the "ESSEX" ?

Thanks!

You might be interested to know that the same 1920 P.T. Legare catalogue also has the "Milwaukee" engines in it:

I read, write and speak French so this is not a problem for me. Pictures of an ESSEX tag will be great for the records.
Thanks!

Yikes!

I think that if I was a Canuck, I'd buy myself a GS&M just because of that ad.

How in the world did they get Conan O' Brien's grandfather to pose for the artist when he drew up the ad for the Essex engine???

According to the records, Stover sent engines to Legare.

If you think the young man in the Essex ad is happy, here is an equally happy boy. He has a smile from ear to ear!
