Default Perfex Radiator Core Wanted for Boring Tractor

I am re-restoring my Boring tractor. The original Perfex radiator was replaced with a modern tube and fin radiator. The original core was good but this was a, "Make me a new one" job and the original core which only needed new tanks was destroyed. I have repaired two Perfex radiators which needed tank repairs before.
The core should be about 22 inches high and about 24 inches wide.

The best place to get honeycomb cores made is Brassworks out in California. We got the radiator for the Avery Trackrunner project from them and the tag on the core said it was made in Hants, England. It took a bit of work but the end produce worked fine and had the original type radiator. Brassworks advertises regularly in Antique Power and other tractor mags. The only down side of going with original honeycomb is the cost. Good Luck Ed B

A honey comb would be fine, but the Perfex is not honeycomb. It is a different design.
Here's a link to a Perfex which is now working fine on the Eagle.

The radiator on our 10-20 Case is similar to what you are trying to find. The person we got our engine parts from had one of these made for his Case car. It was quite costly ($7500) but I can get you his information if you would like.

Here is the radiator you are looking for:

Sorry to say but you are not going to get the Perfex style radiator made. Best you can hope for is honeycomb or use your old one as a veneer.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

Thank you
The old one was destroyed by the previous "restorer" or the radiator shop where it was taken. It now has a fake veneer. I'm searching for a usable or reparable Perfex core which will fit and I prefer to stay away from radiator shops after seeing and knowing what can happen there with a nice original core. They want to make a new one which does not resemble the original.

Same thing happened to me with the GS&M Beaver tractor Perfex core. It needed a new bottom tank.Took it to a shop we dealt with a lot at work. When I went to pick it up, it had a modern fin core and a poorly fashioned bottom tank! They had scrapped the old core already. It cost a lot of money to have the original rad destroyed. Mind you, the repaired one is still on the tractor after 25 or so years. Not sure there is a rad shop around here anymore. Not one that you would dare take a vintage rad to for sure.
I repaired the rad on the Wallis tractor myself. The core was sound. It involved a lot of soldering and patching on the tanks and it may not be high quality work; but it holds antifreeze and does its job.

By the way Ed, I know you had some pictures of the tractor on another thread; but it would be nice to see pictures as you work through the restoration. That is such a rare machine. Congratulations on getting it and keeping it at home.
Have a very fruitful 2017,
RM

I need a Perfex cellular radiator or just the core which has the round holes as viewed from the front for this tractor. The size should be near 24" wide X 21" high.
