Default JD 45 combine transmissions

Does anyone know of a place to get JD45 combine transmissions ? If I could pick several up it might be worth my while to make a trip.

I just returned from a trip to Tenn. and saw one being hauled down the Interstate for scrap. Their all pretty much gone, just have to keep checking out old equipment dealers and farm back lots for the odd survivor. Believe it or not I also found a 110 Case boiler set up for steaming tobacco, looked to be in decent shape! F.J.W.

I just made a fork lift with one,eazy conversion,works great.

does anyone know of any salvage yards that might have some jd 45 combines these are the early 2 row models...some other models might have the same transmissions as well. Thanks

There is a equipment junkyard close to Alamo Indiana that might have what you need.. It is Edwards Equipment. If you want more info PM me and I can give you their PH#.

If you don't find any down in your area, we have two junk 45's up here in west central Wisconsin.
