I struck out on the Baker and the Eagle. Anyone know what way they were headed? Anything end up going oversees?

one of the cafferty family bought the RI G back and its staying in the family when I talked to them. Jerome was really proud of that tractor so they wanted to keep it in the family. I hope there wasn't some auctioneer confusion on it and two people bought it, as it was on its way home when we left.

the running Rock Island F went to us, the G2 went to montana to the same guy who got the the Baker. I heard the Eagle is going overseas, the rest I don't remember hearing where they were going. I know some of the stuff stayed fairly local but i don't remember exactly what.

I took a lot of pictures so when I get back to my place I'll post a few up of the sale.

I apologize I had 2 of Jeromes sons mixed up on the headless Rock Island. I thought a relative from Wisconsin was the high bidder but I was mistaken. Jerome had mentioned there was some family interest in the tractor. Far too many family members to meet in one day. I guess it stayed much closer to the Howard Lake area. Thanks to all who attended on the 28th! It was a good day for Matt and Jerome and I thank you all for visiting with the Cafferty's. It meant so much to Jerome and Matt to see so many tractor collectors get together.

Here are some pictures I took before and during the sale. we didn't get there til later afternoon the day before, just as it started to rain. the day of the sale couldn't ask for better weather for the sale, but we had heard there were more storms brewing so we made the decision to head back that night rather then stay over. on our way towards the Twin Cities, we stopped at a gas station that was showing the news putting a severe storm going through just south that had hail and tornado possibility. By the time we went through though it had blown over and we managed to avoid all but a small pocket of rain on our way south.
