Default Lincoln SAE 300 with Bedford engine

Hi, first I want to say this site is awesome. I love engines and machines. I just bought this Lincoln SAE 300-220. It has the four cylinder Bedford engine. I am trying to find a parts supplier for the engine. It runs great but has a couple of fuel leaks. One injector leaks and a weep hole between the timing case and the injector pump leaks intermittently on cold start up. Any resources or info is greatly appreciated.

Down at the very bottom of the page are several earlier Bedford engine threads, and more will come up on search here...
Bedford was GM's Brit operation, and while popular there (and, I think in AU) apparently not much over here...
Googling Bedford diesel will bring up a lot of stuff, including at least one supplier but only of specific models...
My apologies if this is all stuff you already know...

The Manual I have covers the 220 cu.in. diesel with a sims injection pump and vacuum governor. Its the automotive version which has the pump driven by an extension shaft off the compressor. I get parts from Turkey he has a site on the net btu34 is his name I think.

Hi, sorry so long my Bedford has the CAV DPA injection system. I am actually looking for info on that now. She just quit running, no fuel to injectors. Thanks, Tom

The engine supplier that has everything is carlin america.
Hope this helps. I had a sam 400 with a 220 bedford. Great engine.
Mine had a fuel leak at front seal from weep hole took pump to a shop n they fixed the seal pretty reasonable. Although years ago. I think the pump was a CAV pump. Other places wanted to just go through the whole pump for big money. Wasnt necessary. Pump worked fine

This video should is better than a manual for the DPA pump. the only disagreement I have with it is I would clean of the exterior of the pump first

Yep Bedford stuff is UK built and available in Australia as well. Good old Bundy has made so many videos you just could not sit and watch them all as I haven't enough time left but he certainly has helped a lot of people.
I too would have cleaned off the outside as well before pulling any pump apart.

I scrubbed the whole thing before I cracked a bolt loose. In the middle of the rebuild have a seal issue that I hope comes out ok.
