Hello Ian
Here's a test to see how good Builder Bob is. See if he sweeps the roof before the gutter is put up. A good tradey will.

Cheers Scott

Hi Tim

Yes the floor will swept and left to dry. I will then seal it to stop grease and oil from soaking into it. Might take a while to dry after this rain event, never mind I have waited this long so a few extra days waiting for it to dry won't hurt.

Cheers

Ian

If you want a hard wearing industrial concrete sealer at reasonable price, check out the link below. I used this in my shed and its a great product, only cost about $270 for a 20L drum from memory and only used 50l to put 2 coats on 216 square meters of shed floor. This product impregnates into the concrete unlike a lot of products that only adhere and later on peel

I agree that a protective coating should soak in first then once the pores are filled then sit on top.
By the way; How did you get all that concrete to stay up with out any signs of support?

Cobba
An extremely talented concreter and a lot of form work was used. You should have seen the struggle he had using the helicopter to finish it.

Not sure what happened there to be honest. Picture is correct orientation in my phone. Who knows what happens inside the mystery that is the internet

Same happens to me but mine tend to lay down on one side. I too have no idea why it happens especially after youdownload it from the phone onto the desktop then do the retation and save and it looks great on the desktop then post it and it changes back yet it does not increase the pixels as I also have to compress the image to post.

Hi,

Roof and gutters on today, so just the ridge cap, pa door, roller door, front window and flashing. Looks like an easy day for him tomorrow.

Cheers

Ian

Hi

Sorry for the delay had a dose of man flu. Almost done, electricians coming tomorrow to wire it up, then the plumbers to do down pipes and stormwater drainage. Once they are done I will clean and seal the floor.

Cheers

Ian
