Default What Is It and What Is It Used For

Does anybody know what this was used for. 3 cylinder radial oscilating motor. Pulley side has small soldered tubes going to ports. Looks like 3/8" barbs for inlet and outlet. I found it at a recycling centre.
I can't make out the writing on it.

An interesting home built or commercially built three cylinder oscillating single acting self starting engine probably meant to run on air. Interesting design The main body looks like a casting. Are the cylinders Nickel plated or are they just rusty ?

Hello all
Very interesting bit of kit Jim. I can red Met/chem on the long tube but cannot read the number.
Is the whole air engine made of brass or stainless?
The fittings don't really lend themselves to high pressure. For some reason the fittings say to me....vacuum, not pressure.

Cheers Scott

To me it is simply a 'donkey engine' that can run on compressed air or even low pressure stem then the pully drives other accessories. Look at the model stem section in fleabay and you find all sorts of things to drive from that pulley,

Maybe it's a chemical feed pump for a boiler or cooling tower or a dosing pump for a liquid concentrate.
