Does any one know about these ugly Rosebery verticals ?
Do they normally have an external govorner ?
And, what year is this one ?

Hi Darryl,
To get a date for the engine you will have to phone Don Reid on the Gold Coast as he has all the records.
From your first pic on its side it is hard to work out what engine you have. It looks like the bottom end of something so a couple more pics showing what the engine looks like will help us a lot.
If you are having trouble posting more than one pic at a time it may be due not being compressed. Reduce the pixel size and you can post more at a time.

Yeah, good point on the photo, here's another.
My pixel size did just reduce, i just got whacked in the neck with the electric fence.

That's a V type Rosebery, it's the bigger of the 2 sizes they were made in and it should have a Wico EK mag on it too.

Good stuff, thanks all. Picked it up with two Bamford diesels that both go. A wico ek was in the shed there which I got but it has a fancy bracket with it so it’s off another engine.
On a side note, those hinged crankcase Bamfords are heavy duty aren’t they?

Did I call it a Rosebury ? I recon I got “corrected” .

We have a pair of Buzzacotts under the house waiting their turn to be restored. One is a 2hp and the other is a 3hp. I have not looked to see where the govenor is on them or if they are a throttle governed engine. SOmeone with far more experience than me on these ones will give you the answer you need.
