Thank you for the reply. I have used a connector for the solenoid.

As for the wiring, can you elaborate a bit more?

If you look at the diagram, let say we want to wire the Water Temperature Sensor" . The wire coming from the sensor connects to the ground/blue wire on the light indicator and the red wire on the light indicator connects to the fuse box where the positive is coming from the battery?

Am I right in saying that?

Or is it a different way?

I assume that the sensor will activate the ground connection when there is not enough pressure? therefore the light indicator will turn on?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, all the warning lights with the exception of the glow plug light get their feed from the fusebox terminal that is live anytime the key is in the on, glow, or start position.
The way the charge light works, it get power from the fuse box, AND power from the stator (or + brush on the field, which is fed from the stator) inside the alternator, when there is power on both leads the light is off, when the engine isn't turning the stator voltage is 0 and the light is on.

loop around inside the circle
indicates the lamp filament
not wiring for it

we are glad to help
and when people say they are electrical "Newbs"
we may misjudge to what degree they claim new

see signature lines below!
the output end connections can be deadly!
connected incorrectly it can make the generator frame "line voltage" hot to earth.
Professional help is advisable beyond the 12 volt stuff

Ok, so I finished wiring everything, generator works very good.

I have two questions.

When I turn the Key to the On position, water temp sensor lamp does not turn on nor does it turn on when the generator is running. The wiring is correct I know this because if I put the wire to the outer body of the water temp sensor the lamp turns on.

Also, the charging lamp does not turn on when the key is to the ON position, when the generator is running the battery is being charged.

The temperature warning light only comes on when the engine overheats.
Oil light only comes on when the oil pressure is low.
On the alternator it might come on with the key on but engine not running, don't know for sure, my D905 only has one light, oil pressure.

When running Lights on=trouble, lights off OK.
Test it to make sure by grounding the wire at the sensor.
