Default EU7000is Fuel Tank Gauge

With barely over a hundred hours on a the unit the fuel gauge is stuck on empty. I can only see the internal bracing but no stem or float when peering into the tank. I'm guessing there are some screws under the sticker on the gauge but thought to ask the pros before I do something I wish I had left alone.

Crazy - the unit sits stationary so its not like it got roughed up. But if I'm gonna have a problem with the genset this one is tolerable.

TIA,
JRH

Never mind. After many years of hi tech I fixed it with a block of wood, a rock and a single, strategically placed rap.

I once saw an electrician cut a cable and crimp on a hi link with nothing but a rock.
It was a captive area and we could not get tools to do this job right but the great hack insisted on showing he could.

Sometimes its just better to have the right tools though...

This is a Kiruna truck all electric.

One night with one broke down and very frustrated I threw a rock at the back encloser behind the cab.
The truck that was powered up but would not move shut down...
Uh OH I thought, now I done it.....
Then the driver turned the key and the trucked powered up systems rebooted and the truck drove away.
After that I was hard pressed to not try and through rocks at them.

Just saying sometimes a rock is a tool...
