My 35 doesn't have a letter, but it does have faster gearing, not the fastest near as I can tell.

Thanks. Yes I did realize after purchasing that there are several KTA parts on the KT, as you pointed out. sounds like that is fairly common, so not sure yet if I want to hunt down original parts or just keep it as is. The magneto is a different model too. There are a few other parts missing from the KT, throttle valve rod, choke rod, radiator screen...
I have the FTA in the garage, that one seems more complete and accurate, so working on that this winter.

I sure don't have a clue about the E on the serial but you have a couple sweet looking TC'S!
Your "modern" 21-32's rear wheels answered questions I had in my head from another thread here! Thanks for the pics!
That K is a real cutey! Dang they look good!
May I ask a favor Clay? What part number is your KT's steering wheel? I don't have a parts book for the K's and am an MTA guy.
Thanks!

I almost got an MTA. The guy I bought these from had one of those too but I didn't realize how wide it was until I pulled my trailer up and said "that won't fit"! He had this FTA and I wanted that too. I only had enough money (and space!) For two tractors unfortunately.
Steering wheel on my KT is part number KT 521. I also have an original R739 repair parts list that has the same number.

Very cool! KT521. The MtA's is MT 3 hundred something. Ya, they're wide.
Thanks Clay! I appreciate it.
I'd fill these 4-1/2 acres with Twin City's if Maw would let me.
Like I need more to do. Yes, yes I do.
Happy jealousy about your parts book: I have a reprint R740 KT Instruction book that a friend gave me 20 some years ago. I'm glad you have that R739 to go along with the KT!

Book show FT63 axle used from 150303-154649. Ft63B used 154650-155399. MM used letter designation after serial for front axle type. S(standard) was common as well as N for single wheel E came later in 1947-8. Extendable. May have been used for axle changes earlier.

Thanks Molinegb. I haven't looked that closely at the axles, certainly nothing jumped out at me right away, but as I noted earlier, I have no experience with old tractors. I will take a closer look at the axle part numbers.
There is one piece that I think broke during transport, the part that attaches to the muffler, it is a cast iron piece, but part of it broke off and is probably beyond repair. The part number is FE340C. Would guess it might also be on the early MM G tractors? Anyone know of one that is available?
While I'm a long way from needing it, anyone know where I could get the decal that was used in 1935 that has "Minneapolis Moline Twin City" in red, black and white?
There is a ton of knowledge on this site, glad I signed up!!

Just checked the front axle, FT63B is the number. So looks like that is normal.
