Default McCormick Deering Model M 1 1/2 HP AW107263 1932

I have aquired a 1932 McCormick Deering (IHC) Model M 1 1/2 hp engine. Serial number is AW107263. The question i have. It has a (CAR TYPE) fuel pump on it. I ve looked it over a lot. It just does NOT seem to be an add on. Was this a factory option or something they used as the engine was being phased out.

That fuel pump is original. The later M's used that AC diaphragm pump.

You don't see too many of the Ms with the AC pump. Nice find!
