Default John Deere & John Deere Bain horse drawn mowers

Require information on all models of john deere & jd bain horse drawn mowers, not sure how many models were manufactured at that time.

John deere bought the Dain company in 1911 and the mowers had the Dain name on it but the tool box cover had John Deere on them. Then they made the John Deere #1 Then the #2 ,#3, #4 and then finally the Big #4. The wooden pole on all the horse mowers were painted red witch was the color of the Dain equipment. Dain also made manure spreaders and overshot stacker. When John Deere made tractor mowers it was the #5

Would it be possible to get some manuals or some papered information pertaining to parts ,etc we have a couple that it is hard to make out what they are, badly deteriorated & damaged, so maybe if i can purchase some inflo than maybe we can begin to restore them. Thanks Jim

I've been in contact with them the two individuals i spoke to weren't interested in checking what information they had available at the library. Thanks for the suggestion.
