Yes, several actually but that’s really from a tiny tiny flat spot that forms from spinning a top. This usually takes a long time to form. The top in the video is brand new, no chance of a flat spot. It’s a very rare thing as far as this hobby is concerned. In fact I’ve never seen another. It may exist but I’ve not seen one.

I’m still at it, a resent one. The material is called mokume and the stem is polished titanium on a tungsten carbide bearing. Mokume is made from layers of copper, brass and nickel forge welded together.
