Can anyone explain to me "Field Service Mode"?
Any info at all is greatly appreciated

Hi Mike,
Field Service Mode is when a connector is shorted out either by a wire or a hand held scan tool and the engine management sytem defaults to a base timing and idle with cooling fan running similar to limp home mode.
