Default Hanley Falls, MN pics

there were two nice stand-outs among the other nice tractors at Hanley this year. the first was a 12-25 Wetmore. had never heard of this one. it was claimed that 500 were built and this was the only survivor.

the other was a Aultman Taylor that i did not realize they built. don't even know the model #. must have been on the tail end of their production before they were bought out. had a four cylinder enine with a more modern radiator. it was a really nice restoration. both units came from somewhere in south dakota.

enjoy!

Hanley Falls show is a smaller show but has some very quality tractors. The museum on the grounds is very nice also.

The 15-30 Aultman Taylor is owned by Doug Lienen from Fulda, Minnesota. I was honored to do the restoration on it. There are features that indicate to us that this is a very early model. The date on the original engine is 12-1916 and there was never any provision for a serial number plate on the tractor. Some of the origional sheet metal was cut out with a chisel. On this model the brake is on the lefthand output shaft of the transmission but on most of the production models it is enclosed in the transmission. It also has drive wheels that are 2" larger than what the catalogues say. Here are two pictures , one of the Waukesha engine and the other is the cab during restoration. I can put together a more complete report of the restoration if there is interest.

Dale something else I noticed that is different from mine and other ones I have seen is the front axle on that one. I would be interested in your restoration pictures. I am nearing the completion of mine. I need to put the fenders on paint & run all the fuel lines. Thanks for the information and a super job on the restoration!
