Default Reid engine info wanted:

HI Guys: I am purchasing a 15 HP Reid engine from a fine gentleman in PA and I am looking for any information on these engines I can find, for my own interest purposes. I have viewed Larry Trammel's Reid engine page, and I have found a few webpages from people that own these engines by checking out the links, but I have to believe there are more Reid engine owners out there in cyberland, that maybe have not listed their site. Any info on them including running them, parts, stories about experiences with them would be appreciated. I know I can reach out to a ton of people with this post, thanks to Harry!! Thanks Guys!!!

I have an 8hp reid. I downloaded a manual of of the internet at Bill Tremels web site. I think it is one of harrys links on his link page. I believe its www.tremel.net They are fun engines to run the one I have is running on a carb. Most I have seen are running on propane. Enjoy

Congratulatins Pete. I bought a 15 Reid this summer and have recently been running him after giving him a thorough going over. I have had him running on gasoline & propane. I live only 20 miles from Oil City Pa., where they were made. Drop me an e mail & I will forward some tidbits I have saved. I also downloaded Bill Tremels Reid manual posted on his publications site. I found it very helpful. Bill Klein

Pete,

I don't have an engine site, but I do have several Reid engines and they are very good running engines. If you need any help getting it running let me know.
