Jopeter, the "Rambling" was in reference to the Published Piece by Mr. Morris, attached to Ian's post, and was never intended to reference anything that Ian Wrote Himself, which I had HOPED, was made clear in my subsequent post.

Where does a person find these videos that are mentioned? The newspaper scan above is only a couple of days old, indicating that these are very recent events, yet a Google search only got me stories from a year ago.

Try searching for Ady Gil crash video.

Ady Gil is the name of the trimaran that got it's bow sliced off.
There are few different views of the crash on the different sites.

Hi All
Nearly every second day there something in our local paper about the Japanese whaling
Now some people will make statements that are a bit of the mark to stir things up just to get many other people to write letters to the paper.
Local Australians on here will know what I mean
The article I scanned from my local paper just happened to be in the paper that day I could have gone through the papers over the last few days and found an article that made more sense
We in Townsville have been trying to get a P.E.T scanner for our local hospital and I have written letters to the local paper that were a little bit of the mark (on purpose) to force our local government members to answer to what is really going on and it works
Ian
PS you only have to look on this forum if somebody makes a statement (about an engine, tractor ect) that is not quit right and watch how everybody jumps in to reply

Hi All, The water that the "accident" happened in are Australian waters. Water that has been claimed by the Australian Government. Only 3 or 4 other countries recognize this claim so therefore the international courts members beleive it happened in international not Australian waters and therefore couldn't give a stuff !!! Maybe our prime minister Kevin Dudd could put the blowtorch to the japs.
!#%@&^$ WANKA !
Even that bald headed environment minister can stick his songs up his A@#E . !$^*$#@ hypocrite. I hate people who say one thing and do another.
By the way, I'm not a racist , I Hate Everyone.
Ha Ha. Cheers .Pete.

The last that has been heard over on this side of the Pond, is that SeaSheperds have filed a "Claim" in the Hague World Court, but that is not likely to go anywhere, as those are usually filed by Member States, and only Member States have traction there. Usually in Maritime Disputes, this would be done by the Flag Nations of the vessels involved. I am not aware of, in which Nation, the ADY Gil was Registered, and Flagged. From what I can see, the Japanese are NOT filing any Actions, in the Hague, over this incident.
