Default Stolen engine in Australia! Please read!

g'day all
a good friend of mine had a break in on tuesday night at his farm near mudgee, NSW with various pieces of farm machinery stolen but what concerns us is that they also stole one of his engines. the engine is a nelson bros made jumbo engine, type C, 3 to 4 h.p., throttle governed and it is painted grey( althought it could get repainted for reasale) and is complete except for the webster magneto(it still had the ignitor bracket fitted. Everyone please keep a watch out for this engine, if you are offered this engine, see this engine for sale at swapmeets or a clearing sale or whatever please conatct me asap by my email mickc782@hotmail.com and i can give you the details of the owner and he can direct you to the relevant authorities or call the mudgee police station. so come on lets catch these bastards!!
cheers
mick

I will try and keep an eye and ear out as this type of thing is not good at all and also Mudgee is fairly close to where I live

Hi Mick,

Not being very well educated on American engines, do you know how many of this type and size survive in Australia? If there aren't many, how many of those engines require major parts.

I wouldn't think it would be such a desirable engine that it is worth shipping overseas - having said that it could be a container filler.

Regards,
Wayne
