Default Ron Miller

I just received this message from Cassandra Boyer about Ron Miller. He was responsible for various Rumely organizations and activities. He was my first Oilpull contact when I bought two 16-30 Hs in 1967. I called when I was in the area on 30th Oct and Lora Lee said he is in hospice and holding his own and cannot hear at all and a visit wouldn't work. He had another stroke on the Saturday of the Geneseo Show over a month ago. He attended it on Friday. He was a founder.

Message:
Dear Rumely Friends and Family,

Please contact Rumely Ron ASAP:

Lora Lee says that while Ron is in Hospice he would still appreciates hearing from his old friends.

As you know Ron restored the Rumely Oil Pull that is in the Smithsonian Museum.

Even if you just leave a message on the recorder/email it will mean a lot to them.

Ron and Lora Lee Miller

Thanks for letting us know. I had the Pleasure to meet him in 2008 at his Farm and enjoy that very much. What a good Knowledge about Oil Pull's and what a nice welcome he gave us won't forget that in a lifetime. Thanks Ron for a great time at your place and hope to see you again.

Oilpulled,
Thank you for posting.
So sorry to hear of Ron's plight.
He was a regular at the Rumely reunions that Cass ran in LaPorte and is without doubt one of the nicest men you will ever meet. Bless Ron and Lora Lee at this time.
RM.

I was asked to post this on behalf of the Miller family. Cards and letters are fine but please, no phone calls. The phone has been ringing off the hook and it is very stressful with what their family is going through. Please keep the Miller family in your prayers. Thank you.

Here is the sad news that Ron Miller passed away yesterday at his home. The link above will will take you to the obituary. The visitation will be 3 - 7 on Tuesday at Vandemore Funeral Home, 580 E. Ogden Ave, Geneseo and the services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday morning at Grace United Methodist Church, 318 N. Center Street, Geneseo.
Ron was a good friend and he was the first person I met about Oilpulls after I got my first Oilpull back in '67. He was a pleasant person and he did much for the hobby for which he was known. We miss you, Ron and the best to your family.

A true gentleman, one of the early fellows to catch Rumely fever & helped many people in the hobby.
