Default I Got This Big Box Monday----

Monday morning i got a call from Fastenal in Great Falls. 460 miles later, i'm home with this big box. I wonder what's in it? Let's find out. Looks like there's an engine in there. Well, would you look at that! What a beauty! Came all the way from Ohio. Thanks Tom.

A few more pictures, the last 2 show some minor damage. The intake valve got bent, broken plug & worse, the oiler got broken off & chipped the threads in that cylinder. Unfortunate, but not too serious. It could have been much worse. skip

Man, Fastenal 3pl must have some real bad orangutan drivers or in the wharehouse where the are rerouted these days. I had a 3hp Challenge shipped from Ohio to, luckily NO damage other than the forklift fork hole in the side of the box, which they pulled off ,nailed down with about a dozen twist nails , it takes some doing to pull those out I found out, then they just bent the nails over and stuck the box over engine! Kerry Sanchez is who I deal with and gave a not to nice call to, maybe you should to she was going to do some chewing she said. First time I ever had one crated and first time any trouble they are starting to get a bad rep hope somone relizes it might be their jobs..

All the small box had in it was the coils, so i don't think that caused any damage. Mitch, no snow yet, just in the high country. Thanks to to those who responded, my thanks button is gone. skip

Very nice looking NEWWAY, and the twins run soooo well.

And the broken parts look to be an easy repair.

Nice pick up. That damage will be ok. What is the engine number, if you don't mind me asking? Good luck getting it going, they're great to hear running. Post a video if you can. Cheers-Neil.

Skip,
I don't see any damage to that box. How do you explain how it got damaged?
